Frequently asked questions
When is Peptra launching?
Peptra is currently in TestFlight. Public App Store launch is targeted for the coming weeks. Join the waitlist to be notified the moment it ships.
Does Peptra give medical advice?
No. Peptra is a personal tracking tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or advise on any medical condition. If you're considering peptide use, work with a licensed healthcare provider familiar with your situation.
Where is my data stored?
Your protocol data is stored locally on your device by default. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is encrypted using your iCloud Keychain and synced across your devices via Apple's iCloud infrastructure. Peptra does not have a cloud database with your dose data — we cannot see what you log.
Is Peptra free?
Yes. The core app — dose logging, site rotation, cycle scheduler, marker tracking, AI weekly summary — ships free. A future Pro tier may add multi-protocol comparisons and deeper analytics.
Which peptides are supported?
At launch: BPC-157, TB-500, semaglutide, tirzepatide, ipamorelin, CJC-1295, GHK-Cu, GHRP-6, selank, semax, epitalon, MOTS-c, thymosin alpha-1. Additional peptides on request — email [email protected].
Does Peptra recommend doses?
Peptra ships with widely-published reference protocols for common peptides as a starting point. These are reference points, not recommendations. Your dosing should be set by you and your clinician.
How does the AI summary work?
The weekly summary is generated using Apple Intelligence (on-device language model on supported iPhones). Your dose data is summarized locally — it never leaves your device for AI processing.
Can I export my data?
Yes. CSV and PDF export are available for any date range, optionally filtered by peptide.
Is there an Android version?
Not at launch. Android is on the roadmap depending on demand. iOS-first because the on-device AI summary uses Apple Intelligence, which doesn't have an Android equivalent at the same maturity.
Is there a free reconstitution calculator?
Yes — use it here. No app required.
Where can I read more about specific peptides?
Our sister site PeptideAdvance has research-grade overviews of mechanism, evidence, and regulatory status for 15+ peptides.
